Medicago group is a company within LifeScience and medical technology, developing, producing, and marketing various products for the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry. The company is located in Danmark Berga outside Uppsala (8 km from the center) and employs approximately 60 people.

Job Responsibilities

Medicago group manufactures a large number of its own and customer-specific products that vary over time. Your role will be to lead, plan, and follow up on both production work and resources at a high level. You will have two group leaders reporting directly to you. You will sit on the management team and report to the CEO.

The role is independent and requires flexibility as the needs of production are constantly changing. The work also includes administrative tasks, including establishing and managing quality issues in accordance with our quality system.

Furthermore, you will conduct some financial analysis of products and services. In the role, you will manage customer contact for certain clients and be present to a large extent during external audits. Therefore, it is important that you enjoy acting in business-related contexts.

Education/Experience

You should have previously had personnel responsibility and be used to both supervising and delegating within a production-related environment. We would like you to have experience leading through other managers.

You have a relevant scientific university education in the field and relevant technical work experience.

For the role, previous experience in LifeScience with work according to a quality system (GMP or ISO 9001/ISO 13485) is required.

You speak and write Swedish and English fluently.
